Corey Feldman stars in the new indie horror film, “6 Degrees of Hell,” which was shot at the Hotel of Horror haunted house in Ross Township, Pa., a few miles north of the Slate Belt. “Uncle Jack’s Hotel of Horror” is besieged by a dark presence after two friends of “Uncle” Jack, Chris and Kellen, unwittingly release a deadly evil by transporting local psychic Mary Wilkins’ collection of haunted objects as props for the popular tourist attraction. At the same time, a local TV ghost hunter, confronts an evil that has haunted him all his life-one he believes is responsible for his sister’s death years ago. His search puts him in the path of a rogue police chief and June-a girl who seems to be the eye of this supernatural perfect storm. They all find themselves connected to the old hotel while the threads of their own personal horrors draw paranormal investigator Kyle Brenner (Feldman) to pull all the threads together.

This movie has turned into a total creep but is an excellent film in many takes especially in the hunter times. Two thumbs up!

Rust and Bone is an intense love story from the director of the highly-acclaimed The Prophet. When Alain (Matthias Schoenaerts) is put in charge of his young son, he decides to make a break of it and leaves his native Belgium to restart his life with his sister in Antibes. But the new start is turned upside down when he starts a relationship with Stéphanie (Marion Cotillard), the beautiful trainer of killer whales. It’s when Stéphanie has a serious accident that their connection really turns into something profound. French dialogue is arguably and beautiful for this movie especially after she suffers a horrible accident. This is a tremendously acted and directed drama, and the spark of love between Cotillard and Schoenaerts after they have sex for the first time is exciting and moving. Great film, plot, and acting, although the film has sub titles, this did not detract from it whatsoever gripped from start to finish.

Brothers have a role in your life

From director Paul Fraser (Heartlands, Somers Town, Dead Man’s Shoes) found the young and promissing Timmy Creed, who plays the 17-yar-old Noel, as well as the younger Paul Courtney (Paudie) and TJ Griffin (Scwally); the film also features established actors such as Kate Ashfield (Shaun of the Dead, Hush), Don Wycherley (Father Ted, Ondine) and Sarah Green (The Guard), proving that

Set over Halloween weekend in 1987, My Brothers tells the story of three boys’ journey to replace their dying father’s watch. Using a battered bread van, the brothers embark on a journey across the wild Irish landscape to get to an arcade machine in the small Irish seaside town of Ballybunion, where an identical watch resides.

Along the way they’re detoured by escalating brotherly battles in an off-beat and moving journey that eventually, changes their relationship and leads them back to their dying father.  The brothers’ relationship is solid and it never loses focus on the fact that it’s about them coping with the loss of their father. All three are very good actors and it’ll be a pleasure to see them in future roles.
