A successful concert was made in the last day of many performances  when singer, songwriter Taylor Swift returned to STAPLES Center with her 1989 World Tour for the first of five sold-out Los Angeles performances (August 21, 22, 24, 25 & 26). Miss. Swift said that the last concert has been one of her best nights; full of surprises and emotionally. She put on a heck of a show. Definitely was a great night for this incredible “show-woman” & knows how to write a catchy tune; the songs were danceable & there were great visual effects. She also put a dozen dancers center stage while hiding the actual musicians in a corner background, making in one of the biggest pop productions with quality. There no were imperfect performances and few guys/gals were playing & singing their hearts out, with great talent, ability, & passion be all that’s needed to remain entirely compelling.

This event was full of surprises and Selena Gomez was one of the celebrities guests who had a special appearance to congratulate her on the unprecedented achievement of her success and sang “Bad Blood” together.  Justin Timberlake was another great surprise of the night that dropped in to sing his hit “Mirrors.”

After she devised her album “1989” songs such “Style” and “Out of the Woods,”“Love Story”, “The Breakfast Club”, “Wildest Dreams,” in this song Taylor played the song on piano (and mashed it together with a bit of “Enchanted”), “Wildest Dreams.”

She wore different kinds of dresses and sometimes some mini-skirts that show off her great legs, with elegance and great style. People loved her performance and some of them sang the lyrics of her songs out loud. This show was very familiar, anything vulgar or offensive to the youth. This is the highest compliment I can give an artist for her talent and great show.

Miley Cyrus finally with a new album

Miley Cyrus had a chance to grow into a classy, sophisticated artist so Bangerz is the Miley Cyrus’s fourth album due out on Oct. 8. The 13-song record (16 on the deluxe version) is packed tight with hit records. Even she represents the side of the “industry” that says you have to conform to make it the last decision is taken by you as a listener of this music. Enjoy or destroy are your only choices!

The audience from LA took hats off to all the performers in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey

Photos and video by Jenny Alvarez

This show is well known as the world’s largest show for the whole family and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents his show entitled “BUILT TO AMAZE!” now appearing in Southland, Los Angeles from July 10th to August 4th.There were some remarkable innovations included the split-level trapeze artists, and the lions and tigers perform was so great and the interesting parts of the circus were the tight rope folks, the guys rolling on these spinners, and the acrobats jumping on the wire at the end. Customs were full of different colors and comedy of the clowns was so pure and full of happiness. The live band was musical, with original rhythm in each performance. Finally I would suggest this to anyone who wants to have a great time of any age.

Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez were together at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA in an amazing concert!

Enrique Iglesias surprised his fans (mostly women) with hits such as “Be with You”, “Dirty Dancer”, “I like it”, “Rhythm Divine”, “Tonight” among other hits. He also was singing the most successful cover “Stand by Me” with one of his fans who went up to the stage making his participation the most original and entertaining. However, the only criticism of his performance was the lack of Spanish songs because, although the concert is in the United States, there also were Hispanic fans and Enrique did not sing any of his most successful songs in Spanish that many of his followers expected. On the other hand, women were well represented by Jennifer Lopez or JLove with a Broadway-style presentation, full of energetic dancers including her boyfriend Casper Smart, who definitely showed his dancing skills alongside JLo in “Dance Again.”

In the middle of her concert, there was a video which had several photographs and videos of her children, singing very emotional, “Until It Beats No More.” This song was full of emotions due JLo showed her maternal side and shared to the public.

Lopez made several costume changes, and made a major review of her discography, which was from his first album with “If you have my love” to recent hits like “On the floor” and “Follow the Leader”, the latter successful song, made with Wisin & Yandel, a couple of leaders of reggaeton, a  music style created in Puerto Rico.
