H&M Model Encourages Confidence

Jennie Runk has been stirring the pot lately regarding her modeling job for H&M. Encouraging young girls, especially those who are deemed fat or obese to accept their bodies, the model finds her newfound fame an “awkward surprise.” Her message has been well received by many.

Yankees Fan Builds Stadium Replica

Bill Becker better known as “Brother Beans” built a replica of the Yankee Stadium using matchsticks. The 86 year-old spent $300, three years  and 75,000 matchsticks to build the replica. The New York Yankees were so impressed that the replica was put on display in the stadium.

Guided by Michael Jackson’s own words, the new “Michael Jackson One” by Cirque du Soleil starts previews May 23 and celebrates its official premiere June 29 at Mandalay Bay.

L.A. attorney John Branca, co-executor of the Estate of Michael Jackson, said: “We are guided by Michael’s own philosophy in all that we do. In preparing for this production, Michael’s message to the cast and crew for his ‘This Is It’ concerts was foremost in our minds. He counseled them on what the audience experience should be.

Cirque CEO and President Daniel Lamarre hosted a preview of “One” at Mandalay Bay and added: “Our second project with the Michael Jackson Estate confirms how stimulating this creative partnership was meant to be. As a creative challenge, this project is the ultimate — Michael Jackson is an all-time phenomenal artist, timeless and contemporary.

“This new theatrical experience is not only respectful of Michael’s legacy, but also very distinctive from the ‘Immortal’ world arena tour.”

Even this show has been rehearsed in Montreal, as a viewers are sure about the magic is going to operate in the next few weeks prior to the preview and premiere full of acts and quality performers.

Despite his fearless character in his past movies, Will Smith is afraid of one thing: mice. The A-list celebrity told “Ellen on The Ellen Degeneres” Show that though he’s okay with snakes, possums and rats, he is uneasy with the mere idea of the urban rodent.

Macklemore, Not Happy with Tune Use

Oklahoma City Thunder’s has been using Macklemore’s hit song “Can’t Hold Us,” but the Seattle Native is not too happy with the song choice. Macklemore tweeted,
“So apparently the OKC blunder are using @macklemore ‘Can’t hold us’ as a song to hype up the crowd in their arena <-OH HELL NO!”

After dating actors like Bradley Cooper and Keith Britton the “Star Trek” leading lady stated in an interview with Allure: “It’s OK to say, ‘This is what I want’ — and go after it. And if it doesn’t happen, it’s OK.” She adds that women need to be “reasonable” with themselves.
The beautiful black and Latina actress has played very empowered roles in movies like “Avatar,” “Columbiana” and now “Star Trek.”

Jolie Underwent Double Mastectomy

Earlier this year, Angelina Jolie underwent a double mastectomy after finding out that she carries the gene which makes her predisposed to cancer.
Her decision was heavily influenced by her mother’s death at 56 with cancer.

Stoke City and former England International soccer player had a retirement that would make you and I furious. After a storied career spanning 17-years, the pride of England -footballer, Michael has decided to hang-up his cleats. At the age of 33 Stoke teammates commemorated Owen by egging and flouring his Mercedes.

Barbara Walters Announces Retirement

Walters announced Monday that she will be retiring from The View and the audience applaud her for her choice. Walters told her co-hosts, “I want to leave when people are saying, ‘Why is she leaving?’ rather than ‘Why won’t she leave?'”
She will be remembered for her lengthy career in journalism which includes 20/20, The Today Show and The View.

Murray's Appeal Pushed for Rejection

Conrad Murray, late Michael Jackson’s physician, appealed his manslaughter conviction. Yet Deputy Attorney Victoria Wilson has urged the courts that this appeal be rejected. Wilson states that the court has not erred in its choices to suppress evidence of financial troubles as this would only serve as distraction to the real issue of Murray providing propofol leading to Michael Jackson’s death.
Murray is currently in jail serving four years for his involvement with the death of Michael Jackson.
