It’s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin’s Barbershop. Calvin (Ice Cube) and his longtime crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighborhood.
“Barbershop: The Next Cut” also stars Regina Hall (“Think Like a Man”), Oscar winner Common (“Selma”), Sean Patrick Thomas (“Barbershop”), Eve (“Whip It”), Anthony Anderson (TV’s “Black-ish”), Jaszmine Lewis (“Barbershop”), JB Smoove (TV’s “The Millers”), and recording artist Nicki Minaj (“The Other Woman”).
Lee directed the film from a screenplay by Kenya Barris (“Black-ish”) & Tracy Oliver (“The Neighbors”), based on characters created by Mark Brown. “Barbershop: The Next Cut” reteams the producers from the first two films, Robert Teitel, George L. Tillman and Ice Cube.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman “The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season” is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Abraham Ford, is added in the opening sequence after being listed as recurring in the previous season and Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Carl and Judith’s father, is the series’ primary protagonist. However, this season also includes an experienced cast as Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Chad L. Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr., Michael Cudlitz, Emily Kinney, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt and Andrew J. West.
Definitely, one of the best parts of this is more interactive because consumers are going to have to fill up the tanks themselves with one of the most popular and outstanding TV shows ever broadcast.

An upcoming summer drama “The Night Shift” will get your attention

Who would not like to have a group of handsome doctors around before a surgical operation? Well for this coming summer a group of Army doctors return to work on the night shift at a hospital in San Antonio, particularly adrenaline junkie TC Callahan (Eoin Macken, “Merlin”). After three grueling tours of duty in Afghanistan, TC is about to learn that his toughest battles will be fought right here at home.
He and his irreverent team of late-night docs, including his best friend Topher (Ken Leung, “Lost”) and protégé Drew (Brendan Fehr, “Roswell”), know how to let off steam with the casual prank or two, but when lives are at stake, they are all business.
This action-packed medical drama features a strong ensemble cast including two wonderful Latino actors, Freddy Rodriguez, whom you may remember from “Six Feet Under,” and Daniella Alonso, who recently starred in our suspenseful drama “Revolution.”
The entire cast, including Eoin Macken, Jill Flint,Ken Leung, Brendan Fehr, Jeananne Goossen, JR Lemon and Robert Bailey Jr. as well as Freddy and Daniella Alonso. Definitely, is a super drama when the day ends, their work begins and the characters work well who are involved in topics such as homosexuality, passion, bravery for some facts that some characters have to face and betrayal. The risk of death and stressful relationships and social life can suffer, too because is not the Grey’s first season as many think is much better due this drama is full of cool’ doctors being fun and spontaneous with hysterical and dramatic moments that make you want to watch them at the Night Shift.

David Letterman is more successful than ever
David Letterman’s Late Show contract extended through 2015. Letterman’s 66 years old has been hosting the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS since 1993. Over the years, the man has had trouble competing with Jay Leno, often losing to NBC’s late night host. Certainly good news for Letterman’s fans whose every evening program has been successful in recent years.

This impressive set The Walking Dead: “The Complete Third Season” is richly developed characters, gripping action, and a good chunk of tragedy and gore. Perhaps there is something more powerful than the walkers and other humans that is coming after them but the writers and producers had the patience to make it interesting especially when a zombie bites things can be explained that it is not the bite that makes you into a zombie, it is just toxic and kills you and it is very possible that if someone were somehow “immune” to the pathogen that everyone seems to be infected with now that turns them into a zombie no matter how they die, the bite may still be toxic and kill them, but they wouldn’t turn into a zombie. There are several examples in science where one thing looked like it caused another thing and they were really unrelated when it was researched further but that is the magical part of this production and failed to disappoint all the fans, bringing the duo together for a fight that would end with Michonne (Danai Gurira) stabbing The Governor (David Morrissey) in the eye after killing his zombie daughter and smashing his zombie-head aquarium room to pieces. Many locations and scenes are incredible real and some zombies have their own personality and a past life in which you will figure out what happened to each other. Definitely two thumbs up for the upcoming series of The Walking Death 3 which must be part of your home entertainment collection will be available on August 27th in DVD and Blu-Ray.
