Stoke City and former England International soccer player had a retirement that would make you and I furious. After a storied career spanning 17-years, the pride of England -footballer, Michael has decided to hang-up his cleats. At the age of 33 Stoke teammates commemorated Owen by egging and flouring his Mercedes.
Chad Johnson, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco was seen around town hanging with a homeless man by the name of ‘Pork Chop.’ The former NFL player tweeted his adventure with Pork Chop. From Urban Outfitters to a nightclub called Dream, the pair were chilling all over town.

Splash, the new tv series on ABC showcases celebrities mastering the art of diving. Instead, the contestants seems to be dropping like flies. Nicole Eggert was reported to have been hospitalized due to a fall gone wrong. Though doctors say she has not broken any bones, she was kept for a few hours to insure that no organs were damaged as a result of the fall. Barely in its first season, the show has already eliminated one contestant due to injury: Chuy Bravo and sent at least three contestants to the hospital (including Eggert).

Freestyle acrobatics on road machines. To say that this show was “energy on steroids” is putting it mildly! Action packed, never ending excitement, pyrotechnics and stunts you would not believe. Set in the year 2150 in war-torn Los Angeles, there are two tribes of Nuclear Cowboyz: the Soldiers of Havoc and the Metal Mulisha and they’re being threatened with takeover by the Cyborg Army. The battle of good versus evil ensues through a back and forth of fearless and insane stunts on everything from motocross bikes to four wheelers and it’s all set to heavy metal and alternative music (heart thumping, really — I was totally rocked out.) The whole performance was fantastic, and very organized professional run. Two thumbs up!
In a 103-98 victory versus the Sacramento Kings, Kobe Bryant has taken over Wilt Chamberlain’s spot as all-time leading scorer. Even with a painful bone spur on his left foot, Bryant doesn’t fail to astound his Laker fans.

Los Angeles Convention Center debuts its new in-water location at Burton W. Chace Park in Marina Del Rey Harbor February 7-10, 2013. Larger than ever, the West Coast’s premier boat event will showcase hundreds of boats, from entry-level family cruisers to million dollar yachts, plus thousands of the newest marine accessories and gear, daily educational seminars and fun for boaters of all ages.
GalaTView was in the first day of this event and you will have a variety of show seminars presented by Discover Boating, for both power boaters and sailors — including on-the-water training and learning activities. Personally, I learned Kayak and surfing and both are sports that you can practice all together with your family. These ones were very enjoyable and your children can have fun easily.
Burton Chace Park is located at 13650 Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey; and the Los Angeles Convention Center is at 1201 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles.

The Super Bowl has become a cultural event, with parties thrown around the country as fans, some more ardent than others. The Baltimore Ravens shook off an unprecedented Superdome blackout and a near improbable second-half comeback by the San Francisco 49ers, to hold on and capture one of the greatest, and certainly wildest, Super Bowls, 34-31 on Sunday. The half the lights in the Superdome went out in a third quarter Super Bowl power outage, causing a 34-minute delay. Since that moment, the 49ers have regrouped and dominated.
Flacco was especially potent in the first half, completing 13 of 20 passes for 192 yards in the first 30 minutes to give the Ravens a 21-3 lead with 1:45 left in the half. The two head coaches, John Harbaugh of the Ravens and Jim Harbaugh of the 49ers, are brothers. Their parents have said they are cheering for both teams.
Definitely it was a a game full of emotions for 100 million or so Americans expected to tune in on TV.
