From director Silas Howard,  A KID LIKE JAKE, will be full of experiences. Alex (Danes) and Greg (Parsons) have always known that their four-year-old son, Jake, was more interested in fairy tales than toy cars, but when preschool director Judy points out that his gender nonconforming play may be more than a phase, they are forced to rethink their roles as parents and even as a couple. Its cast is well structured by Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, Priyanka Chopra, Ann Dowd, Amy Landecker. For 87 Minutes, viewers will see a film that talks about this issue in an accurate, mature way when a kid reflects his real sexual identity and parents let their childhood be his own. The world would be a better place if both sides understood this fact. Definitely, this is a good film that educates and makes you think more about this fact in two different sides either happiness or pain for the child.
