Former Mouseketeer Bonita Lynn Fields Elder, an agile dancer who showcased those skills on the 1950s children’s show “The Mickey Mouse Club” and later performed on Broadway, has died in Indiana at age 68.

Along the way they’re detoured by escalating brotherly battles in an off-beat and moving journey that eventually, changes their relationship and leads them back to their dying father. The brothers’ relationship is solid and it never loses focus on the fact that it’s about them coping with the loss of their father. All three are very good actors and it’ll be a pleasure to see them in future roles.

Harris, 65, a former member of the Delfonics passed away Friday at a Richmond hospital from congestive heart and lung failure, according to his sister Catherine Thoms. Major Harris, the R&B singer who helped pioneer the sweeping sounds of Philadelphia soul during the 1970s as a member of the Delfonics before achieving fame as a solo artist in his own right, signing a deal with Atlantic Records whereupon he scored a slew of R&B hits.
