Dr. Murray’s Defense

Dr. Paul White took the stand and defended Dr. Murray during the Michael Jackson trial. He stated that there is no possibility that Jackson died because of the propofol, unless Jackson digested or injected something else to his own body.
Dr. White further stated that thousands of cases occur where patients take propofol and they do not die. In the hospitals, a patient is given this medication and it is not fatal to their lives. There is the possibility that Jackson may have taken something else and self injected propofol.
“Michael Jackson probably died after he rapidly injected himself with a dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol on top of a large dose of sedatives he swallowed when Dr. Conrad Murray was away” stated the defense.
