From director André Øvredal, “Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark”, begins in 1968 in a remote place in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home.

Full of ugly creatures, emotions and some scary stories, make feel the spectator the best horror media, skeletons with torn and tangled flesh who roam the earth; a ghost who takes revenge on her murderer and plagued of creepy nightmares. Fear transcends all age barriers and this film shows that part of the characters. Definitely, the best option for fear!

“Stuber” is full of jokes and adventure

By GalaRView Staff

Directed by Michael Dowse, this action-comedy includes a great cast such Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating.

Nevertheless, this couple of Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani make good partnership because some scenes are funny, full of comedy, and many murders happening in front of Stu. This guy always is unlucky because he has been getting a lot of racist one-star reviews lately. Everything stars with an enjoyable plot full of weird circumstances. Dave looks as though rock, despite his love for a dog that adopts during the film, so he is being an authentic human. Definitely, you will enjoy pure action of Wrestlemania and comedy.

The best living returns to “Annabelle Comes Home”

By GalaTView Staff

Full of chaos, horror and fear “Annabelle Comes Home” from director and writer Gary Dauberman comes at home with more havoc, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren lock the possessed doll in the artifacts room in their house. But when the doll awakens the room’s evil spirits, it soon becomes an unholy night of terror for the couple’s 10-year-old daughter, her friends and their young baby sitter.

Few scenes are with a curse, hunting and deep fear of the victims. All related to the doll which is the scariest sequel of the white horror along with all other entire artifacts.  Cast is very well selected particularly for their performances full of scares, tension, thrills and shocks.

This film is Jarusch’s signature move where the amusing and the annoying facts are part of this master piece.

Director Jim Jarmusch, reflects many intentions in “The Dead don’t Die.” The greatest zombie is Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits. This one  has real thrills and laughs about dead in a cynical manner with fair addition in terms of zombie comedy and dry humor. Marvel Studios like to use the same formula for all its movies and this is not an exception. The story begins with some characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic Dark Phoenix. During a life-threatening rescue mission in space, Jean is hit by a cosmic force that transforms her into one of the most powerful mutants of all. Wrestling with this increasingly unstable power as well as her own personal demons, Jean spirals out of control, tearing the X-Men family apart and threatening to destroy the very fabric of our planet. The film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It is the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies, as the family of mutants and thrilling action sequences. Definitely, all mysterious aliens, begin to act out, splintering the team to breaking point so makes a film full of emotions, psychological violence, and redemption.
