Here’s something we don’t see everyday, Kesha looking tame. Her usual self: messy hair, heavy makeup and leotards, wasn’t there during her attendance at a fashion show in Italy. The 26-year-old had her long hair flowing down, red lipstick with dark lined eyes,  and a black laced dress that looked elegant.

Nuclear Cowboyz 2013 in LA

By Jenny Alvarez

This show has the greatest cast of freestyle motocross, trials and quad riders ever assembled, including recent X Games 2012 medalists Ronnie Faisst, Mike Mason, Taka Higashino and Winter X Games gold and silver medalist Colten Moore. The tour also includes former gold medalists Adam Jones and Matt Buyten as well as award-winning freestylers Derek Garland, Brody Wilson, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Wes Agee, Nick Dunne, Geoff Aaron, Keith Wineland and Marco Picado in this action-packed freestyle performance of pure danger and raw combat.

Freestyle acrobatics on road machines.  To say that this show was “energy on steroids” is putting it mildly!  Action packed, never ending excitement, pyrotechnics and stunts you would not believe. Set in the year 2150 in war-torn Los Angeles, there are two tribes of Nuclear Cowboyz: the Soldiers of Havoc and the Metal Mulisha and they’re being threatened with takeover by the Cyborg Army. The battle of good versus evil ensues through a back and forth of fearless and insane stunts on everything from motocross bikes to four wheelers and it’s all set to heavy metal and alternative music (heart thumping, really — I was totally rocked out.) The whole performance was fantastic, and very organized professional run. Two thumbs up!

Successful Relationship?

During an interview with HuffPost Live, Jada Pinkett Smith disclosed her secret to being married for 16 years with Hollywood star Will Smith. However, her secret eerily resemble characteristics of what open relationships entail. Though I admire her message of “Will as his own man,” does it entail that in order for relationships to last, monogamy gets thrown out the window?

The company you keep is valuable

Jim Grant (Robert Redford) is a public interest lawyer and single father raising his daughter in the tranquil suburbs of Albany, New York.  Grant’s world is turned upside down, when a brash young reporter named Ben Shepard (Shia LaBeouf) exposes his true identity as a former 1970s antiwar radical fugitive wanted for murder.  After living for more than 30 years underground, Grant must now go on the run. With the FBI in hot pursuit, he sets off on a cross-country journey to track down the one person that can clear his name.

Shepard knows the significance of the national news story he has exposed and, for a journalist, this is an opportunity of a lifetime.  Hell-bent on making a name for himself, he is willing to stop at nothing to capitalize on it.   He digs deep into Grant’s past.   Despite warnings from his editor and threats from the FBI, Shepard relentlessly tracks Grant across the country.

As Grant reopens old wounds and reconnects with former members of his antiwar group, the Weather Underground, Shepard realizes something about this man is just not adding up.  With the FBI closing in, Shepard uncovers the shocking secrets Grant has been keeping for the past three decades. As Grant and Shepard come face to face in the wilderness of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, they each must come to terms with who they really are.

With terrific ensemble cast there is a reasonable amount of tension throughout, where one wonders what will happen next. These people exist in real life, some characters felt cartoonish and unbelievable while standing atop their mighty soapbox but actors like Shia and Robert are still able to wrestle such negative points to the ground. However, things to say about pernicious U.S. government policies of the day that engendered the Weathermen’s sometimes excessive protests — yet another deeply satisfying evening of cinema from the uniquely gifted, unfailingly dependable Robert Redford.
