Gabrielle is pure woman, full of sincerity

A well structure film comes with special needs actors with the other cast members and music is part of the story. It is a simple love story: girl meets boy, girl likes boy, girl kisses boy but this girl has some disabilities. Like all young women, Gabrielle wants her independence, but of course her situation is exceptional. When she falls in love with a similarly challenged young man in her choir, she discovers that both the families and the social workers are alarmed. What would be her destination and how would you solve it in a situation like this? Definitely is a high quality French-Canadian film which makes it original, with great actors and script of a reality as society cannot deny and Gabrielle must still confront other people’s prejudices as well as her own limitations in the hope of experiencing a love far from the “ordinary”. From the Director Louise Archambault and a great cast Gabrielle Marion-Rivard, Alexandre Landry, Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin. This movie makes you to think and appreciate the important things you have in life. It’s highly recommended and you can see it in your favorite movie theaters from July 4th in LA.

These performers are world class athletes and is really sad that in 30 years with no problems and one of the most intense acrobatic group on earth, and something terrible goes on. Especially with Acrobat Sarah Guyard, 31, who was an original member of the “KA” cast, fell after a wire suspending her reportedly snapped Saturday night and she died on the way to the hospital.

Long Beach Arena in Long Beach will have six performances only of Dralion from November 1 – 4. Fusing the 3000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion (pronounced “Dra-lee-on”) draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature.

The show’s name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing

the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West. In Dralion, the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form. Thus embodied, each element is represented by its own evocative color: air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre. In the world of Dralion, cultures blend, Man and Nature are one, and balance is achieved. The best part is when the ‘clowns’ have the humor for an adult subtlety to it but is a familiar show. There is not so much a narrative story-line to Dralion as other shows similar to this one. However, it has exotic elements, clever clowning, world class acts of amazing skill and lovely grace of 52 world-class acrobats, gymnasts, musicians, singers and comedic characters with beautifully evocative music, elegant costumes and many dancing dragons. Sometimes some people couldn’t applaud at the end of an act because most of them  were too amazed- just sat there, trying to process what they had just seen, as a spectator you will have a wonderful time!

The Miss Universe Pageant Ends Ban on Transgendered

Transgendered pageant contestants are now allowed to participate in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe organization announced it is ending its ban on transgender contestants after coming under scrutiny recently when a Canadian competitor was told she would be disqualified because she was born male. The resulting change opens this fall’s 2013 pageant season to transgender women.
