A dog will become in your "Darling Companion"

This movie will be launched on April 20th. On the side of a busy freeway, a woman finds the love, devotion, commitment, and courage she needs – all wrapped up in a bloodied stray dog who becomes her ‘darling companion.’ When the beloved canine goes missing, a shaggy-dog search adventure plays out, drawing together friends and family and rekindling a lifelong love. It will be especially meaningful to anyone who has been part of a family. In general the cast is really good mainly the acting is perfect-Beth (Diane Keaton) is at her mature best. When Joseph (Kevin Kline) becomes distracted by a phone call during a walk with Freeway, the dog disappears. Furious, is the best part due Beth is emotionally all over the place, inexplicably rueful of Joseph, and has an irrational fixation on Freeway. This movie isn’t about men and women, it’s about believability. Kline comes off as a stand-up guy that simply has little patience for odd behavior.

Although titled Darling Companion this is by no means a “Dog Movie”. Ultimately it is about relationships in a fairly idealistic American family that only some of which are interesting. For those that are not huge fans of love stories especially ones that seem to be on the sad side because those to me are not easy to watch. However, if it was a film based on humor and love and as a viewer you would really enjoy it.

Kelvin Kline believes that “thousands of dogs that don’t get adopted and get put down; that is a shame. There marvelous companions. I have a dog, fish, bird, and children (laughs). I am their primary caretaker.” He noticed that the cast in the film were mainly filled with animal lovers. The movie is basically about love, “short and long term companionships, between humans and animals. Men and women as well as children and adults.” Kline also stated that his character was devoted to his patients. You do not want to miss out on this movie, where love for the animals is most important for human nature.

Bob Marley resurrected

Marley is the definitive life story of the musician, revolutionary, and legend, from his early days to rise to international superstardom. Made with the support of the Marley family, the film features rare footage, incredible performances and revelatory interviews with the people that knew him best. Watch this amazing documentary, well structured, with facts about Marley’s life.

Ziggy Marley is one of the eleven children of Bob Marley, who had seven relationships.  He was born in the baby boomers generation and is a part of this “large number of people, reaching old age and retirement”. Ziggy continued his interview by stating that many compared him to his father. There are many similarities, both are musicians. “Shyness” was a personality trait Marley and his son shared. Their music was also compared and sometimes criticized for “not being as good as Marley’s”. But this does not affect Ziggy. Thus, his son stated that Marley had love for his children. And sometimes he would “spank them” (laughs). Ziggy ends the interview by providing a religious relation to music and describes “Music is spiritual and it is created from God, to give messages and ideas to people, music is from God”.

Love is the triumph of imagination in “Goodbye First Love”

Goodbye First Love, now is available in some American movie theaters  since April 20th.  An acutely perceptive portrait of a bright young woman in the wake of her first romance.  Fifteen-year-old Camille (Lola Créton) is a serious, intensely focused girl who has fallen in love with easy-going Sullivan (Sebastian Urzendowsky), an older boy who reciprocates her feelings, mostly, but wants to be free to explore the world.  When he leaves her to travel through South America, she is devastated.  But over the next eight years, she develops into a more fully formed woman, with new interests and a new love—and the possibility that she’ll be less defenseless when Sullivan enters her life again.  Rendering scenes that showcase her extraordinary ability to evoke moods and feelings, Hansen-Løve takes the story of a girl’s first romance and makes it into a singular experience, familiar in its broad strokes and yet so specific that it feels uniquely personal.

This movie reminds me my first relationship, my first kisses and heartbreaks. Besides, the beauty of the language, the cities, the countryside make this movie magical and realistic so It goes far beyond that, and all the emotional echoes of those moments will last for long after the relationship itself is over. However, all the heightened emotions that come with love. The fear of being rejected and abandoned is very real and must be acknowledged. It is a well structured and meaningful love movie that gives us the freedom to be who we are, loving others for who they are. In few words, when you really love deeply in one direction makes you more loving in all others. Life is full of pure love for all things that makes you capable of doing things that you consider part of your happiness.

“Hit So Hard” is out of the hole in a rockumentary

Review by Jenny Alvarez

Hit So Hard follows the rise to fame (and the near-fatal fall from it) of Patty Schemel, drummer for Courtney Love’s seminal rock band, Hole. But just three years later, the drug-related deaths of several musicians, capped by the suicide of Kurt Cobain, closed the books on an all too brief era. In  a Hi-8 video camera just before Hole’s infamous Live Through This world tour, Patty captured stunningly intimate footage of the scene that has never been seen… until now. Not just an all-access backstage pass to the music that shaped a generation, Hit So Hard is a harrowing tale of overnight success, the cost of addiction, and ultimately, recovery and redemption.

Although this movie reflects all drummer’s career and struggles with addiction and how many people might be tempted into seeing the film for: namely, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Much of Schemel’s early time with the group is focused more on Cobain than on her, and while it absolutely provides an intriguing look at an icon of music, it feels like something that would have better belonged in it’s own film, perhaps as a companion to this one. Like  a minor rockumentary is very well constructed especially when Patty Schemel, the acclaimed  drummer for Courtney Love’s seminal rock band Hole, reflecting her own world of sunshine, this is highly recommend for those who enjoy drummers and women musicians,  now is available in some American movie theaters  since April 20th.
